Hooker Falls

Sunbeams March 11, 2006 - I had hoped this would translate better from reality to the digital medium, but the beams were starting to fade, and the scene wasn't extremely scenic to start with.

Run Down - This is a bit of a work of art, for me. MUCH more Photoshopping than I usually do, and I really enjoyed it. Blame Heida; her DPC mentorship thread sparked a renewed interest in Dodge and Burn. Paint Shop Pro has never done a very good job at D&B for me, but Photoshop Elements is MUCH better, and there is a world of capability there. Several layers and a bit of work made this have much more depth than even the real thing, and I'm personally proud of it. :)

Travis - just a snap of my boy doing one of the many things he loves...

Wrought Iron - I just like this shape, and I like this shot.

Swingin' - Just a telephoto shot of a front porch swing with a little bit of diagonal added to imply motion...

Bulldogging - Rodeo shot from Saturday night, March 4. Terrible rodeo, but we made a lot of pictures. Some terrible pictures, too.

Sunday Morning - Actually taken on Saturday, March 4, at a roadside church on our way back from Pigeon Forge. Pretty church.

Blue on Blue - Yeah, still on a diagonals kick. It at least adds a little interest, don't you think? Actually made on March 4.
