This is an old one from the archives of 2005, just because I wanted to PP a little bit :)

Don't know what in the dickens to call this shot. It will possibly be entered in DPC Square Crop, so please either vote objectively or do not vote on this image if you see it there. :)

Barred - Diagonal Experiment #3 - Just to balance all the red.

Chained - Diagonal Experiment #2

Diagonal Experiment #1 - Just trying to use the power of diagonal. Of course, the colors are good, too!

Dad's Knife - February 25, 2006 - Another "light painting" experiment. I'm not fond at all of the results here.

Mr. Saturday Night Special - February 24, 2006 - This photo appears in the DPC "Painting With Light II" Challenge - please do not vote on it at all if you do not feel you can do so objectively.

Blue Ridge - that stinking paper mill again :) It's not very photogenic, I know, but it let's me take a lot of shots from a lot of perspectives and work to understand light and such. I really hoped to get more of a blue sky, but it just wasn't happening. In another shot, which I'm going to post to make up for yesterday, it's bluer. Go figure.

Industrialization

New Wave - Sporting goods has changed so much in the past 10 years. This is not a picture I really like, due to the background being totally out of control, but I like the colors and juxtaposition of ideas.

Bridge - shot to repent for missing one yesterday. I don't like this shot, but I like it. I just need more time to do it right. Shot at 18mm at about 9 or 10 inches from the guitar. Used flash and a tiny aperture.

Mystery - I've got great plans for this box. I want to do a "Pandora's" kind of thing with smoke and a hazy background and a partially open lid. Just wasn't enough time to take care of all that tonight, though :)

Olympus - February 16, 2006

One of several shots for an upcoming Ebay auction...

Bookshelf - February 15, 2006 - I just really liked the colors and the patterns here. Not edited much.

Shakespeare - Feb 13, 2006 - There has been a LOT done to this pic, from my standards. Is it digital art, or is it photography? I really don't know. I think it's pretty cool, but it has no real meaning in and of itself - it's just a pic of a fishing reel.

Square Crop 4 - Trav 'Boarding - Yeah, I know the snow is overexposed, but he's right on, and it's a fun shot :)

Square Crop 4 - Pink Ribbon, version 2 - This one has been softened by duplicating and blurring layers. I think it emphasises the ribbon better, and the ball looks more natural.

Square Crop 4 - Pink Ribbon - I wanted the emphasis on the ribbon, which is close to the rule of thirds line, but I had to clone out some uglies, and that might be obvious. A second version that I like better is coming in just a minute...

Morning Silhouettes

One of several shots of this nature I made on my way to work this morning. Maybe another shot tonight to make up for my slackness yesterday...

Tyra Kristiana - First Birthday Party

Scenic Saturation - intentionally oversaturated, but I think it still looks cool. It was inspired by Brent Ward's landscape scenics, but this is a different kind of thing. Just wanted to get some response. The colors were there anyway, but MUCH flatter. I may post the original too, dunno.

Radial Blur Experiment - again, not a really attractive photo, but a learning experience. This is actually zoom blurred, enhanced in PSE with "radial blur, zoom".
